State of Maine v. Michael A. Doyle
Lawyers: Objection to King

June 1, 2002

Ms. Jaye Trimm, Secretary
Fee Arbitration Commission
Board of Overseers of the Bar
P.O. Box 527
Augusta, Maine 04332-0527

RE: Dispute #02-20-G / Doyle v. Dyer

Dear Ms. Trimm:

I have been to a previous fee panel and I am scheduled to appear before another fee panel prior to this one. For neither of which have I been informed that as " routine protocol" for such hearing that Security Personnel will be present. If I have been threaten or their is a potential threat of physical violence against me by Dyer it is incumbent upon the Board of Overseers to warn me of any knowledge it has of such threats.

I find the Board's notice intimidating and extremely unsettling that such precautions are only needed in this hearing. I expect that the Board will warn me in writing of any threat against me by Dyer prior to June 18th and will at the same time guarantee my safety.

In addition, per your letter of May 14th, I have made no attempt to resolve this matter with Dyer and from his answer filed with your office I do not expect to be contacted by Dyer to resolve this matter at his request.

Sincerely,

Michael A. Doyle
